After more than twenty years photographing people from every walk of life—including actors, musicians, politicians, business leaders and hundreds of couples—I know that feeling is completely normal. You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to perform.And your wedding certainly shouldn't feel like a photoshoot. My job isn't to direct your day. It's to give you the freedom to enjoy it while quietly documenting everything that makes it yours.

My Journey to Wedding Photography

Photography has been my career for more than two decades, but weddings weren't where it began. I built my career as an editorial portrait photographer, working on commissions for publications including Vanity Fair, GQ, The Sunday Times, The Observer, The Telegraph and the BBC. My assignments took me into recording studios, backstage dressing rooms, television sets, offices, homes and locations across the UK and beyond, photographing internationally recognised musicians, actors, writers, broadcasters and public figures. Working in editorial photography taught me to build trust quickly, work calmly under pressure and make people feel completely at ease became just as important as understanding light and composition. They’re exactly the same skills I bring to every wedding.

My Style

People often describe my photography as documentary, natural and editorial. I want your photographs to remind you how your wedding felt, not how you were asked to stand. Although documentary photography is at the heart of what I do, I also understand that you'll want a few photographs that celebrate the two of you. Thanks to my editorial background, I know how to create relaxed portraits in just a few minutes, making the most of beautiful light and your surroundings without taking you away from your guests for long.

Rather than filling your day with constant direction, I allow moments to unfold naturally, stepping in only when needed for family photographs or a handful of relaxed portraits.
